Winners of the 2024 Cannes Film Festival announced + names

The closing ceremony of the 2024 Cannes Film Festival was held in the Lumiere Hall of the Palais des Festivals, and the Palme d’Or for this edition of the festival went to the film “Anora” directed by Shane Baker

The closing ceremony of the 77th Cannes Film Festival was held and the winners of the competition section were announced. The Un Certain Regard Awards, New Audience Award, Directors’ Fortnight and Critics’ Week categories were announced earlier this week

It is worth noting that the honorary Palme d’Or at this year’s Cannes Film Festival was awarded to George Lucas, a famous American filmmaker and producer. Lucas was introduced with works such as “American Graffiti” and “THX 1138”, but it was the film “Star Wars” that made him one of the most important figures in the history of cinema and created a wave of blockbuster works from the 1980s onwards.
