Javad Ezzati and Leila Hatami, the best actor of the year of the Legend of Life Academy / seven prominent films of the year in Iranian cinema

Sajjad Asghari, the founder of Afsaneh Zendi Academy Festival, the biggest independent event of Iranian cinema, said at the beginning of the event: Today, he had another chance to screen the seven prominent films of the Iranian cinema year in the fourth round of one-year productions (98 to 99)  after  one year of  undergraduate work  in Let’s select and introduce the Legend of Life Academy Council. The head of the Legend of Life Academy festival further   introduced the seven prominent films of the Iranian cinema year in the fourth round:

۴٫ Bandar Band Kari from Manijeh Hekmat

۵٫ Butterfly swimming by Mohammad Kart

Next, it was time to introduce the best actor and the best cinematographer of the Iranian cinema year, Javad Ezzati and Leila Hatami were nominated as the best actors and Homan Bahmanesh as the best cinematographer of the Iranian cinema year; Javad Ezzati for  acting  in the movie “Butterfly Swimming” and  Leila Hatami  for acting in the movie “The Killer and the Wild” and Homan Bahmanesh for filming the movie Khurshid. In the previous round, Peyman Maadi was chosen as the best actor and the best cinematographer of the year for his role in the film Meter Six and Half, Elnaz Shaker Doost for his role in the film The Night the Moon Completed, and Ali Ghazi for the filming of the movie Maaf Baz

Sajjad Asghari, who breaks the structure and creates the flow of cinema, said: Everyone is certainly aware of the fact that holding a ceremony or festival is completely different from screening and showing a film at the level of any society, each of these two issues has its own rules, here we only work We do research to choose the best film work, this course we tried to act as an independent event, more independent than the previous courses

 The head of the Legend of Life Academy festival in the lasting face section in memory of Abbas Kiarostami said: Today, the living conditions are challenging for some groups due to the problems of the progress of the  society , and among them, the children of this land are the most affected, and since the children in the cinema Abbas Kiarostami had a significant role. The legend of life academy statue is dedicated to the  children  of Khurshid movie in memory of Abbas Kiarostami. Also, the book (Jean Renoir’s Poetic Realism) written by Bahman Maqsoodlou, the director of the documentary film (  Abbas Kiarostami  , a report) was introduced at this ceremony

Next, it was time to introduce the seven short films of the Iranian cinema of the year; Cinema producer and broadcaster Dariush Babaian said: The planning that has been done in the Policy Council of the Legend of Life Academy is aimed at creating a continuous atmosphere in order to achieve a suitable and continuous screening for short films, Dariush Babaian as the secretary of this section seven Introduced the short film

At the end of the ceremony, three cinematographers were awarded certificates of appreciation for the fourth edition of the Legend of Life Academy Festival by the chairman of the ceremony

 •  Kyomarth Pourahmad,  a prominent cinema director

In the end, Asghari said: Due to the corona virus epidemic,  we could not host cinematographers and cultured fans of Iranian cinema, but we did not let quantity sacrifice quality. I would like to thank the advisory board and the members of the Academy of Legend of Life for their support and guidance in choosing the selected works, and all the media  who are with us in the fourth round, both in the international section and today, as well as all institutions and organizations and dear ones.
