Brad Pitt surprised moviegoers

According to The Legend of Medea’s Life, citing Variety, Netflix surprisingly showed the first images of Brad Pitt as stuntman Cliff Booth in “The Cliff Booth Adventures,” the sequel to Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” at the Super Bowl in the United States

In the short teaser, Cliff is seen at a cafe, walking behind the scenes of a film, and behind the wheel of a race car on a dirt track. Several bold shots of his life, including guns and people cursing, are also seen throughout the teaser. Elizabeth Debicki and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II both appear in vintage Hollywood garb, and Cliff is seen placing an Oscar on his desk

The charming and lovable stuntman was first introduced in Tarantino’s original film in 2019, and the sequel, directed by David Fincher, focused on the character. Tarantino wrote the script for the film, but decided to let Fincher direct as he was still searching for a 10th and final film

Fincher’s relationship with Netflix dates back to the TV series “Mindhunter” and includes his recent films “The Killer” and  The Maniac

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood ended with Booth and his co-star and friend Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) changing history by killing the Manson Family killers on the night they were supposed to kill Sharon Tate, Jay Sebring, Abigail Folger, Wojciech Frykowski, and Steven Parent in 1969. The Cliff Booth Affair is set in the 1970s. While Dalton is not expected to return as DiCaprio in the spinoff, Booth will return alongside new characters played by Scott Caan, Elizabeth Debicki, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Carla Gugino, Holt McCallany, and J.B. Tadena. Timothy Olyphant has also been confirmed to reprise his role as James Stacy from Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

Fincher is also producing alongside Pitt, David Heyman, Sean Chaffin and Stacy Sher, and Fincher’s regular collaborator Eric Messerschmidt is the director of photography. The film was shot in Los Angeles
