According to centercinemapress , quoted by Variety, the Busan International Film Festival ended its 25th edition this Friday with the announcement of the award winners of the competitive sections.
In the competitive section, the main prize was awarded to “One Balance” by Japanese director Harumoto Yujiro and “Three” by Pak Ruslan from Kazakhstan, Korea and Uzbekistan jointly.
The “Kim Jaiseok” award was also jointly awarded to “Death in Pure Water” by Navid Mahmoudi, a joint production of Afghanistan/Iran, and “Kashtargah” by Abbas Amini from Iran.
While this festival was held in a mixed format and most of its events took place online due to the Corona virus, it is reported that during the 10-day event that started on October 21, more than 20,000 visitors watched the films of this festival.
